The University of North Alabama is one of the elite schools accredited by the SACS; Its College of Business is accredited by AACSB & ACBSP.
UNA is fully supported by the Alabama Government and is recommended as an exemplary Teachers College. With its nearly 200 years of experience in higher education, UNA attracts students from all over the world. Annually there are about 7,000 students enrolled in the main campus, with students coming from all states and more than 40 countries around the world.
UNA has been offering graduate programs since 1975; in 1980 it started offering EMBA distance programs around the world. In 1999 the Business College has been approved to open EMBA offices in China and Taiwan by SACS.
